Grace, you are crazy. You are like you that frat dude who always starts chanting USA at a group party but is butt hurt when someone disagree with them. The parent issue i agree but ideologically giving in to the registration act won't work for people like Peter Parker who are still teenagers.

Also Tony basically used Peter as a child soldier in this situation. Peter had no dog in this fight except that tony took a young kid straight into this fight

Why are there some people who feel emotionally attacked (who acctualy waist their time writing a comment to explain their rage towards people who ship it) when we say that there might be more than just friendship between Steve and Bucky since practically they have a story together (more then just the mandatory straight love interest that Sharon Carter is portraying) . I mean we all know that if Bucky was a female character he would've end up with Cap . Its just a ship . If you ship its good. If you dont its good but dont reject the peoples who do . ✌✌ im out .

My question was, how would Cap have known? he was buried in ice when it happened. The only way he would know is if Fury or some one else told him. Made no sense to me.

Cap felt responsible for Buckys death, and even though it was 70 yrs ago, for Cap the memory of it all was like yesterday.

Seems like anyone who finds themselves on the wrong side of Tony, Grace hates. Or, anyone on the side of Cap is flawed, i.e. Sharon Carter.

    Hello Grace
I don't have much to say. But this movie failed. I am not a monster.
Still, as a fan. I want monstrous moments. It is hard to do for sure. But this movie was right there. Just right on the step!! And it backed down.
In movie Troy. Achilles just learn of a death. And his anger was enough to threaten the life of his lover. His ❤️And his best captain. In the same moment. And only her love brought him back. That's where I think this movie had opportunity to go. But no. It denied. Cap is not lover with bucky. That's too bad. Only true love can kill hate as strong as stark had for cap in in that one moment….. ☹️☹️

I feel like the entire movie is about how Steve Rogers is a good and loyal man first, and Captain America second, and when he drops the shield at the end, that is him saying that he can no longer be both. It wasn't supposed to be disrespectful to Tony, at least I don't think it was.

  18. Post

Ultron was an extremely selfish creation on Tony's part and everything he does for the greater good is out of guilt not heroism. Captain America would die, without even thinking about it, if it meant saving the lives of others. His loyalty to Bucky is based on the fact that when he felt alone in the world, Bucky was there for him, and he is simply repaying that debt. I think you are wrong in saying that he is selfish, especially because at the end of the movie, even though he is a wanted fugitive, he still returns and busts out every imprisoned hero that fought by his side in the airport battle. Cap isn't selfish, he is just extremely loyal to those who stick by him beyond the political spectrum.

Wait what? Tony tells him the shield isn't his and doesn't deserve it and Cap honoring what Tony thinks by leaving it is Cap being bad? Cap never gives yet Tony was willing to let thousands die in Ultron because of a fukk up he made being his selfish self while Cap was unwilling to let 1 single person die. Cap would easily give his life for anyone of them he didn't have to go and break them out of prison but they were loyal to him and he "gave" by returning it. You mention he didn't ask about Rhodes but he did specifically ask about Pepper and mentioned how he was glad Howard settled down Cap was obviously interested in Tony's life. This was a very very biased review against Cap that made any real sense nor valid port.

And also Russo bros have nothing to do with the script not serving Stark. They directed, but Markus & McFeely wrote the film as they did many others.

Damn this got worse and worse when Ross made that Thor and Banner comment Cap didn't respond because he goes "I don't have to I'm cap and a jerk" nothing of kind. Man this extremely biased PLUS that line wasn't even smart. A general keeping track of nukes which are objects is not the same as keeping track of 2 living free beings. Banner is a free human scientist who isn't gonna be on lock and key. Thor is a GOD of another world so neither Cap nor Ross could keep track of nor answer that question. If you actually thought that out instead of having this predetermined Cap hate you'd realize that.

As I was watching the movie I through that captain America is the Hollywood attempt to revision the white young American next door guy. He has to get away with anything that he does, because he thinks that is correct even if everyone else is saying the opposite also he stands for his pals (fraternity style). Cheers for this review as in many cases totally on point.

Grace, I think you are way off base about Captain America. What would it have accomplished to tell Tony (who is clearly going through emotional issues) that Bucky killed Tony's parents. Bucky was brainwashed and didn't know what he was doing.

I think either Captain America or Iron Man will die in Infinity War. I think Iron Man will sacrifice himself savings Captain America's life. It would be poetic because they had so much conflict, but ultimately they respect each other.

Why are you so biased ??? Captain America was trying to stop Tony from commiting murder, that very Cap like, Cap trying to protect Bucky, that's very Cap like. Cap looking to stop the supposed Winter Soldiers in that hydra facility no matter the opposition is very Cap like. Grace just knows how to interpret a movie wrong just for views. Cap never changed character at all, you need to get your shit together you are just so biased and it's making it hard to watch your reviews

I think that you were a little too harsh on Cap. Sure, he is fairly obsessive about his relationship with Bucky… but remember, Bucky is the only person left on the face of the earth that is left from his life. Other than Bucky, Cap might as well be an alien. He woke up in a world that was a hell of a lot different than anything that he once knew. The 1940's and the 2010's are as different as night and day. To go the extreme to protect that last bit of what is familiar to him… well I can understand how it could happen.

Can I make an argument that that, regardless of Team Cap or Team Iron Man, Tony is an enormously egotistical jackass? Like Black Widow pointed out, is he incapable of letting go of his ego for just one minute! Cap was only trying to project Bucky the entire film; he's only trying to be a good friend!

After watching the movie again I really don’t understand how anyone can side with Cap. Throughout the entire movie Iron Man tries to get Cap to agree with him but Steve constantly pushes anyone away who disagrees with him. He is unbelievable stubborn and selfish that he leaves all his friends ,including the people who helped him fight, left injured and hurt in the airport while he flies away with someone guilty of killing many innocent people. Tony is guilty and does all he can’t to make up for it and prevent it while Cap shrugs off the deaths and only focuses on what him and Bucky thinks. Team Cap fans are unbelievably stubborn and I hope that doesn’t reflect in Infinity War

Are you forgetting that Tony basically decided that he was going to murder Bucky??? Tony became a murderer. And yes Cap saved his friend because he knew that Buck used to stand up to bullies when he was just a scrawny little kid back in the day. And they went to Coney Island and hung out with scrawny Rodgers when many other tough guys wouldn't do that. The government was going to murder bucky for a crime he didn't commit and Tony was going right along with it. The government wanted to create these laws to make them criminals, but FIRST they built a really awesome prison for them. Cap was right. And Tony turned into a murderer, to punish someone for a crime that he didn't have a choice in committing…Just saying.

What's weird is that everyone in the comments is completely disagreeing with Grace and calling her biased which is true because she is on Team Iron Man…… But I'm guessing everyone in the comments is on Team Cap so there must be some equally critical and biased comments about Team Iron Man and Grace.

If the Russo's could do anything I'm sure they would make the winter soldier's past actions as flashbacks or non-security cam footage. I think RDJ loves to test out that CGI de-aging that is now in every A list actor's k.

Your very biased in your reviews of this film….Yuck. It is obvious whose team that you were going for…..lol. Tony is a narcissist. Steve is loyal to his adolescent friend. Period. That's why people fight harder for him. He showed up to free his friends in the end. Tony let them sit in prison. Nuff said.

Of course Cap resent Tony Stark but that was in the first Avengers… I think he now genuinely like Tony, he’s a very conviction driven individual. If he believes something is right, he stands with it… it wasn’t personal for him. The time it became personal was in Russia, at the base… which is when you got to see those raw emotions…

Did you seriously say that everyone likes him only because he’s good looking? Are you fucking kidding me ? That is the most short sighted superficial shit I’ve ever heard. your disdain for cap seems pathological. His friend was kidnapped brain washed and not in control of his actions. What did you expect him to do, just be like oh well. I know its not your fault and you should be killed and imprisoned, for actions you did while under mental domination by others.

Cap found out the secret off-screen, in between the ending of "Captain America: Winter Soldier" and the beginning of this film. Remember at the end of "Winter Soldier": Black Widow gives him the folder on Bucky, and said "Don't pull on that string too hard?" That's when you know she knew!
