I’m Dave Castro and I’m with Facilities
Management, I’m a Project Manager. The whole idea of doing the Move
Coordinators meetings in the first place is just to give you guys a feel for
what’s going on up there okay so you get kind of a space… spatial feel for what’s
happening. Currently my duties are I’m assigned as the Move Coordinator,
the Lead Move Coordinator for the 28 departments, from the four existing
facilities into the Citizens Tower and it’s 12 floors and for the Utility
Customer Service Center and to their two floors: basement and first floor. My
primary duties are to essentially is to gather all department coordinators.
I’ve requested and received some really good people from all 28 departments. It
would be virtually impossible for one guy, Dave Castro, to move 500 people from 28 departments and 4 buildings into the 14 floors that we’re going to occupy. So the
idea is to have them, give them the flexibility, as well as the responsibility, to make this move as simple and as smooth as we can so that
when they arrive they’re both happy and productive.
