this is of stanford connecticut who gets a vote to see if they get this
one in forty five million dollar but antiquated the annual meeting author of a point
infrastructure improvement district issuing agency and the only voters at that meeting actually the only daughter at that
meeting would watch only little poppies from every corporation that on property
at all of a point so dolly motor was a corporation your daughter was old warrior wrapping

in a beside it that the real with cheaper labor for mom so i wish we had a say in this whole
process but sins that we’ve gotten kind of our own
government however the functions like uh… in some ways the erica of course
that coming can decide what to do with their own projects but at the same time
if they’re going to be using this pilatus ease if they’re going to be any
federal money begun abusing them in some ways they’d be nice to have a say a
prayer for the locals limit al certainly also at all i can think of
it what happened to the poor folks typi condominiums have to pay property
taxes on a motor vehicles in that district and you know i don’t like what you know
people safest tailpipe well book it’s all in the morning think about that it’s over the money well how do you think replication had
even possible how do you think we’re going to fire yeah well i think this in the uh… when
it’s the money related to the bankers they say are you came here we have i’m trying to

denominator walk into a corporate boardroom right article back here at that time i listened as you know i know they’re
good people inside corporations in one of those work and corporations for this
summit formally wrong with the system when they’re so thoroughly captured our
government we don’t even units and it’s and uh… tim sullivan is uh… governor

    umm…. I didn't like this interview.
They sort of zoomed through the actual details, and then nostalgically railed on the current corruption in America. I missed the part where all the actual information went down, like, what the problem was in this specific scenario.

That would be the good news! In Atlantic City they took public tax money to build a casino then they insisted that they didn't have to hire any full time workers or pay for health care.

"I'm saying not everyone (sadly) may not know how to get a decent sized garden going…" What kind of civilization prides itself on innovation but fails to comprehend large scale community gardens and urban farming initiatives? You can grow indoors, on walls, on roofs etc… We are decimating wild life so we can look at a bunch of concrete blocks littered with cigarette butts and Ziploc baggies… Why? Because growing food is too difficult? That isn't sad it's psychotic.

cont… I don't think change is gonna be easy. I think it has to happen in order to preserve natural beauty. I'm sure that once people get passed the education dilemma, there's gonna be a plethora of unforeseen problems that will arise… But why let that get in the way? What is wrong with people? How can an entire species be so utterly pathetic it can't change to save something other than itself? We gonna build robots to wipe our asses too? What does that make us?

As if it weren't already. That's something that irritates me, people always say 'just wait' when it's already a reality. I mean no disrespect and I'm not starting a fight. Like, we already have camps, we already have gestapo, we already have kings and queens, we have allll sortsa shit we're not supposed to notice because when they put it in movies they sensationalize it. So when it becomes a reality you don't realize it because it's not like the movie.

Why is that? I mean, we let them get this far. And they've been on a role since the 30's when it comes to control. I know that things will get very hairy when the economy starts shitting itself, but look at the other side of the spectrum. Look at all sides actually. Not everyone is going to band together like a lot of us want to in order to hunt down these bastards. Besides that, theres no certainty that America will suddenly mirror Mad Max and we'll all be fending each other off for supplies.

This is a CLEAR sign that Sarah Palin will be our next President! She will use her GOD POWERS to instill a greater sense of morality and integrity to the corporations such that they will do what is right for the greater good for society and the people! Corporations will NOT be screwing over the people or else they will feel the WRATH and FURY of GOD HERSELF! Regulations will not be needed at all when we have Palin's OMNIPOTENT power and presence protecting the people!

When corporations own the two major parties and have turned them into Right-wing neo-lib and neo-con corporate puppets, why do corporations need to vote? I think most corporations would be happy with just owning the parties and politicians. Perhaps it's part of a long-con to walk us into formal corporate feudalism.

companies is a collective of people that has to obey order from their owner. So if you say that companies are people, you are supporting communism and their idea that one persons voice can be a collective of people even if it is against peoples personally will. Josef Stalin represented the collectives voice even if it was against some individuals own will, who was inside of the collective. So Mitt Romney is obviously a communist.

Show me one pure democracy that does not have a constitution of some kind. Constitutional republics are also forms of a democracy, you moron. Can you vote and does a 51% vote mean a win? If so, that's a democracy. The only distinction between constitutional republics and constitutional democracies is a president vs. a prime minister.

Most of these pitfalls are a result of regulation on economic matters. Look at the banks, the inflation they cause and the unbridled credit they offer. You couldn't pull that shit off if the government didn't regulate that the dollar was the only legal tender. Look at corporations, which are under law created entities with special statutes. If you poison someone, you'll get charged with first degree murder. Corporations or CEO's do not get charged (because they aren't people, under law).

Look at how intellectual property stagnates progress and creates monopolies. Again, it's the government which enforces these non-existing property rights.
Look at land ownership, which in common sense should be based on occupancy or use. The government defends illegitimate claims to private property, allowing individuals and organisations to hold land as property out of use or sell it.

The problem is regulation! Regulation that favors monopolization by the corporate state.

This was made possible by taxpayers, Warren explained this when she said no one does something all by themselves. No, understand please that I often sympathize with the viewpoints of this show, it's just that I feel that 0:41 – 1:00 and 1:08 – 1:43 were the only portions that held the particulars of the situation in Stamford. The rest of the video was simply speculation. I'm a skeptic, and prefer for every peripheral detail to be cited and sourced, and they aren't here. They don't talk at all about the shady-appearing "quasi-municipal agency", for example, nor the community vote for approval of the project.

I agree with dEdGrimley, not you. His explanation is backed up by reality and other regimes. You give no examples, and yet have more thumbs up.

Sweden and the Netherlands are capitalist countries – they're also democratic.

Completely free markets are not democratic, but there needs to be some capitalism, or the right will (rightly) complain that this is also tyranny as it leads to "equality of results" which in practice has left most people poor and a few covertly rich.

    Explain yourself.

Complete bullshit. Fascism has its own economic philosophy which is not compatible with capitalism. Meanwhile it is entirely possible to allow private ownership of productive assets without undermining democracy.

Matters not who one votes for, what government replaces another or what "fiction" the masses make choice to believe – the "ruling powers" will always be. Corporations = status of a living thing in law = based on laws that liberated (black) slaves – an insult to them. Corporations taking over "democracy" – they (have) it all the long, a difference between "democracy" and communism = corporations control government. Funny, America was founded as a "republic" – yet, everyone speaks "democracy".

just being allowed to vote won't be enough, there arent that many corporations all theirs votes combined couldnt beat the votes of a small town. no they will need to weight their votes, a corporate vote will need to count for an amount equivalent to their size, so one corporate vote will be equal to one vote for every employee and share holder in the organization…THEN they will have real power, this is just a stepping stone.
