We got up this morning very much looking forward to the ceremony, counting down the hours, getting ready. Yeah, we’re all feeling very excited. Everybody had the day off school today, so they were all getting prepared earlier this morning – deciding what they were going to wear and getting it ready. The ceremony was great. It made us feel very much part of the fabric of Australia. Really made us feel welcome and part of Australian society. It was really interesting and really welcoming to have the indigenous Australians welcome us in and it was quite moving to see it. We have come from England which is a very multi-cultural country in itself, so we feel at home here and we’ve met a lot of different people from different nations and it’s really great having that diversity. It feels great, we’re all very proud to have become Australian today and to have reached this stage in our immigration process. I feel very happy for myself and my family. We plan to go and celebrate, just spend time in each others company and be happy that we’ve finally become Australian.
