How Citizenship Act Rekindles Hope For These Forgotten Ones

We have come here in India from Bangladesh after facing immense persecution. But here till today we have not properly been given the rights available to the children of India. Thus we wish that we get the rights as children of India. In our village, back when we were in Bangladesh, Muslims were burning our houses, torturing us. Many houses were destroyed and many died in those attacks We were praying that if Modi comes back to power then our lives will improve. I had vowed to offer my blood to the deity if he won again i knew that no one except Modi will be able to alleviate our suffering Thus I prayed to god and promised to offer my blood if he wins again.

The opposition didn't oppose the bill becasuse the persecuted victims of 6 religions will now be given citizenship; rather they criticized why 1 religion was excluded.

Nice report. My subscription is well worth it. Please put translated text in hindi or English when interviewing other languages. It makes you understand their feeling when you listen to local people in their language . Thanks.
