How to Fly RyanAir: Top Tips for Non-EU Citizens

hey everyone Emily here from Emily
overseas and as you’ll see you’re joining me on a very rainy day and
Dublin thankfully though living in Europe
I have very cheap and very easy access to places all over Europe so I also have
a chance to experience some of the Sun that parts of Europe has to offer is
well so that being said one of my favorite things about living in tough
land is being able to have access to these budget airlines such as Ryanair
where I can easily travel throughout Europe at a relatively low cost however
is you probably know the key to using them is also being aware of a few tips
to make sure that you can maximize your money along the way so I’m here today
with three tips that you must know when flying Ryanair and make sure to stay
tuned for the end of this video or I’ll give you the top tip for any non-iea
Nationals when sucking with that so my first tip for you is to be super careful
during the booking process itself when you’re going through and searching from
your airport that you’re flying to and from with your dates
Ryanair offers plenty of opportunities to upsell you so my tip for you is to
first of all avoid any additional insurance and then also avoid booking a
feet ahead of time if you feel like you do need five insurance try poking it
through another third party that is not Ryanair itself
second thing bringing us to seat bookings a pioneer does charge with
either priority booking or booking your seat the free option is to just let them
randomly choose a seat for you given you might not get
your preferred seat right now have that aisle or window however you will have a
few extra dollars in your pockets is something just be aware of for the
check-in process and fucking process itself my second tip for you is around
booking a luggage and just as a heads up Ryanair is very strict with their
baggage policy so make sure to take a look at their website for all the
different specifications for your white but that being said if you are traveling
with a baggage make sure to book it online ahead of time and that is because
Brian Aaron said this time only charges 25 euro for booking your baggage online
ahead of time whereas if you booked it at gate is much more expensive now for
my third tip you’re getting ready to get to the airport make sure that before you
jump in that car or bus or taxi that you’ve checked in for your flight with
Ryanair you can check-in starting 48 hours before your flight all the way up
to two hours before it departs and the reason to do this is because if you
don’t check in online ahead of time there’s a fifty-year of fee that they
will charge you for checking in at the airport itself so finally my top tip for
you all if you’re flying Ryanair is to print your boarding pass I always do
this no matter what makes the check-in process much easier especially if I’m
not going to have internet access in the country where I’m traveling to so as I
mentioned you can check-in up to 48 hours before your flight that means you
could create a boarding pass starting as early as 48 hours beforehand and this is
very important to know especially if you’re traveling within Europe and
you’re a non è a national you need to print it in no
matter what and that is because if you actually read carefully the terms of
conditions while booking your flight you will notice that you have to get an
additional passport check for security reasons from Ryanair this is something
that they actually don’t even check all the way cord through security it’s Brian
air specific so I have here is just an example from my last flight to Berlin
you’ll see here my boarding pass and then I just got a little small stamp
from Ryanair so as soon as you get to the airport if you’re not eating a
national make sure that you’ve checked and you’ve booked your life by the tips
beforehand that you have your boarding pass printed with you so you can easily
just bring it to the Ryanair gate and ask for additional validation of your
passport please let me know if you have any questions about flying running air
or your experience I think we all have positive and negative experiences from
flying Ryanair I would love to hear them please let me know them any questions
below happy did I get this answer for you and
as always if you like this video give me a big thumbs up and subscribe right here
thank you so much for watching you
