Emergencies often come without warning, When disasters strike, when your city is under siege, when everyone around you is helpless. What would you do? It’s an experiment that has never been done before… Take 6 highly trained military professionals from the special forces And take 12 young Indian civilians Do they have the passion to complete military training? Do they have the caliber to become the first responders for their nation? The motto of India citizen squad is to increase courage and dedication among people. We are training these young boys and girls to be first responders. They must have so much confidence that when an emergency strikes they can take quick action and save others. Can they become the India’s citizen squad? Deep in the depths of the Kashmir Valley 12 young civilians are heading for a camp. A camp that will change their lives forever. Coming to train them is the special team of Ex-military trainers. I am Col. Sarin, I have served in the Indian army for 21 years, I was in the Gorkha rifles. I had operational experience in Nagaland and in Jammu and Kashmir. I have a crew of trainers who have been veterans for the special forces. They have a large amount of combat experience. Just to make them aware things are not going to be easy in the camp If discipline and confidence, these two qualities are well established in a person then he can complete more work. If I was to choose one quality which I would value most it would be integrity. If anybody is passionate about serving the nation then it is vital that for that person to be honest. And this quality helps the person become successful. My father always wanted me to join the armed forces and I am glad that I got the opportunity of getting into India’s Citizen Squad. My dream has always been to join the defence forces. I gave 11 attempts and each time, I failed but still I am trying and I hope that I will be selected some day soon. When I heard about India’s citizen squad, I really liked the concept a lot because along with adventure we are also provided training on how to overcome danger. I have come to India’s Citizen Squad to test my limits on how I can tackle dangerous situations and take risks. I had seen a video about this show providing a platform to become India’s first responders. I came here because I thought that I would get to learn something. Our 12 young citizens are heading to an undisclosed location with excitement and hope in there hearts. Day one dawns bright and clear skies, although the temperature is quite low, 4 degree celsius The wind is cutting sharp, and the sunshine is low. At camp ICS- The India Citizen Squad has no time for the relax sleeping. They have to leave the comforts of their warm beds to face their first day at camp. Fast From behind, behind the Colonel Here this side. Cover here. No. 1, shift to that side. Stand at ease! Welcome to camp ICS of all the people who volunteered you are the ones, who got selected because you were the best and trust me it is only the best who can survive this training. You will be required to give all that you have both physically and mentally and then when you think you have completed with the training then you have to master all your patience and strength will tested so get ready to give more. My only purpose giving my opening address was to motivate them and to show them what India’s youth is capable off. Very often there is danger lurking around the corner, it could be crime, or terrorism, or natural calamity. Now the government and, the armed forces they will do their job but in any situation the first reaction has to come from the citizen on the ground… That’s people like you. That’s what you are here to be trained for. What you see here today are the 5 best soldiers of the Indian Armed forces. They faced the worst of dangers. They have served in special forces battalions, they have served in NSG, they served as Naval Commandos, they know what to make of you, and your job is to follow their orders.. So, the first impression of them is they are extremely experienced and everything here must be taken seriously. Are you ready? Yes Sir Are you ready?
