SHE JOINED 14,000 OTHER PEOPLE NATIONWIDE WHO ARE BECOMING U.S. CITIZENS THIS WEEK. [SINGING] WITH COSTUME INTERPRETERS ON HAND, OLD STIR VILLAGE WELCOMED THE NEW AMERICANS. WE ARE SO PROUD TO HAVE YOU HERE ON SUCH A SPECIAL DAY IN YOUR LIVES. THEY GATHERED WITH FAMILY AND FRIENDS ON THE BIRTHDAY OF THEIR NEW HOME. IT WAS A LONG JOURNEY. WE WORK VERY HARD, BUT WE’RE HERE. WE MADE IT. TODAY, IS A VERY GOOD DAY AND BEAUTIFUL. AL BAIN Y’ALL. EACH OF THEIR 52 ORIGINAL COUNTRIES WERE LISTED. BRAZIL. THERE’S A LOT OF FOLKS WITH BRAZIL. WITH JUDGE KENNETH PRESIDING — OUR BEAUTIFUL AMERICA PRESIDENT JOHNSON SAID WAS BUILT BY A NATION OF STRANGERS FROM 100 DIFFERENT PLACES OR MORE, THEY HAVE POURED FOURTH INTO AN EMPTY LAND, JOINING AND BLENDING INTO ONE MIGHTY EAR RESISTIBLE TIDE. THE EARTH OF ALLEGIANCE MADE IT OFFICIAL. YOU’RE ALL AMERICANS NOW. [CHEERS AND APPLAUSE] THIS IS GREAT. THIS IS A GREAT HONOR. IT IS SOMETHING I WANTED TO DO FOR A LONG TIME.
