– Since we implemented the solution, we’ve seen a 98% increase
in our response time to service requests and
our ability to close them. This is a problem similar to
a lot of small municipalities. Although they have
access to a lot of data, they are collecting data, they’re not really making good use of it. One of the best things about the solution that we implemented here in Seat Pleasant, is the fact that it’s
running on IBM’s Cloud. It really reduces costs for us as a city, doesn’t strain our resources, and allows us to have
our solution running, managed, secured, without
the need to actually have physical servers and
maintenance around it. Another crucial benefit
of Cloud is the ability it gives us to engage with our citizens. At Seat Pleasant, they
opened up a first of its kind department solely focused
on public engagement, and we’re leveraging
Cloud, along with Mobility, to help engage with our citizens. No matter where our employees are, they’re able to log in
because it is on IBM Cloud, and get the service request in real time, and respond in a quick
and efficient manner.
