The Scope – First Keepstar deployed by Hard Knocks Citizens

Fort Knocks has been confirmed as the first Keepstar class citadel to be constructed. Its final fitting and test firing were completed last week. This footage, received by the Scope, shows the test firing of its doomsday weapon, confirming that the citadel is indeed fully armed and operational. Located in the wormhole system of J115405, Fort Knocks is accompanied by Fortizar and Astrahus citadels, making this a truly remarkable accomplishment by its builders, Hard Knocks Citizens. In the north, the conflict continues, and while the Imperium coalition has lost all its sovereignty, it is still fighting on, mounting attacks from its current base in the low sec system of Saranen, against occupying MBC forces. To counter these guerilla tactics, the MBC has placed a Fortizar class citadel in Saranen, provokingly named ‘the Spinmaster’. Its construction is clearly intended as a statement of power and dominance in the region. Large fights have been taking place in Saranen with both sides slugging it out. In one of the larger engagements, the recently introduced capital force auxiliaries played a vital role protecting a vulnerable MBC Titan. While the Titan managed to survive, the Imperium inflicted heavy losses to its supporting forces. The MBC continues to maintain its siege, and has so far denied the Imperium any opportunity to regain a foothold in its former regions. The Force auxiliaries are the latest addition to capital ship warfare and have already been integrated into almost all large fleet operations. Continued rumors suggest that the Serpentis Corporation will introduce their own, enhanced capital ship designs soon, after their intentions came to light in a rogue broadcast made during the Amarr championships. Unconfirmed reports suggest that they will be making carriers, dreadnoughts and even Titans available to local capsuleers. This is Lina Ambre, reporting for the Scope.

Excellent voiceover with one minor mispronunciation. It's Ser-PEN-tis, not SERpentis. Stress the second syllable. Nice to see these videos reflecting player activity!

"A very important role". Oh my fucking sides. Yea, they had a role all right. Target practice for our Hurricanes.

Seriously. 20+ capitals lost to a fleet of canes. Not to mention the Erebus we got to 60% armor.

Speaking of that lets also take a moment to remind ourselves that they had to drop 10 Titans on a subcap fleet.

Ahhh. I love this game. <3

I love that CCP makes their news videos so much more believable and immersive than other games where they just do a podcasts with corny hosts and shit in-jokes.

As a Goon, I completely lost it when I heard "The Spinmaster". It's absolutely brilliant how official promotional footage just mentions these random things, I love it.

Pretty sure they murdered thousands of capsuleers flying that Revelation, thankfully they were all Amarrians.

Why didn't the doomsday weapon destroy the Citadel?
"Destructive range" (just outside the Citadels envelope)?
Before it forms warp in, drop a bomb(s) and warp out.

hey guys in my trial time in eve I managed to get a gnosis that its being fitted for pve… thus combat sites… A jerk in rockie channel put a bounty for about 90 mill on me… this with no reason… but perhaps only to have my nice ship and fittings destroyed…. this despite it being a pve… ship… the trial has run out of time and I am thinking in actually getting a 6 months payed time…. but that bounty is not making me happy… for me 90 mill isk is a tad to much to loose… and to loose the gnosis that I really like because of this jerk and his bounties … even worse… is there a way to get rid of such bounty?? should I just trash a bunch of ships in pvp that I by the way…. don't really like doing… hummm …. ideas??… I guess donations are welcomed…

Hello, My comment is on Titans, ie: "Avatar".
From what I've read, after firing its Doomsday weapon (for all Titans) their immobile for 30 seconds, also the Jump Drive and Cloak are down for 10 minutes.
These weapons have a 1 hour cycle time.
For the "Avatar" Titan it has a delay of about 8 seconds to fire (I don't know if any of the other Titans have a delay?).
A Plan (?): After getting Intel from the battle space on coords of a target the jump drive will be engaged then at 30 sec before arrival the drive is shut down and initiating of the doomsday weapon is started.
With momentum (physics) despite weapon effects (immobile) the Titan will be moving very fast, you lock the target (directly ahead?), at 8 sec unleash its wrath and any other weapons and peel off.
Soon after that (10 min?) a third Titan will do the same, then a forth, fifth and sixth then it starts over with the first after an hour is done.
